Celebrity Cruises’ Celebrity Edge, scheduled to enter service in December, promises to be as innovative in its entertainment as in its design. Becky Thompson-Foley, Associate Vice President, Entertainment, for Celebrity, joins Paul and Elizabeth to preview what’s in store for passengers. The Theatre will be the most technologically advanced performance space at sea, says Thompson-Foley, noting that the main stage will be three-quarters round, with additional stages, two rotating spiral staircases, and 10 panoramic projection screens. “The audience will be immersed in the production,” she says.
